Protein Phosphatase 5 Catalytic Subunit (PPP5C) is a serine/threonine phosphatase belonging to the PPP family of enzymes, broadly expressed across human tissues and implicated in the regulation of cellular stress responses, glucocorticoid receptor signaling, and DNA damage checkpoint control. This mouse monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com specifically recognizes the catalytic subunit of human PPP5C and is validated for Western blot detection in research samples.

The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot of purified immunoglobulin in an unconjugated format, formulated in 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer at pH 7.4 with 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.2% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. Investigators commonly apply it to probe PPP5C levels in whole-cell lysates and tissue extracts, supporting studies of phosphatase signaling, Hsp90-associated chaperone complexes, and the cellular response to oxidative or genotoxic stress.

For optimal reagent stability, the product should be stored frozen at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles, with thawed aliquots kept refrigerated and protected from light during active use.
