The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody recognizes PPP3R2, the testis-enriched regulatory B subunit of calcineurin (protein phosphatase 3). Also referred to as calcineurin B-like protein or CNB2, PPP3R2 pairs with the catalytic A subunit to form a calcium/calmodulin-dependent serine/threonine phosphatase, and its largely germ-cell-restricted expression makes this reagent useful for studies of spermatogenesis and testicular biology.

Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, this polyclonal reagent is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry across human, mouse, and rat samples. The unconjugated format gives laboratories flexibility to couple the antibody to HRP, biotin, or chosen fluorophores for chromogenic, fluorescence, or multiplex detection in tissue lysates and fixed sections.

Store refrigerated in the original vial; the glycerol-containing buffer is freeze-thaw tolerant for short-term recovery, and small aliquots are recommended to preserve activity across many experiments. Sodium azide is included as a preservative, so the antibody should not be added directly to live-cell staining buffers that cannot tolerate azide. Intended for research use only.
