Anti-PPP2R1B Antibody

Raised in rabbit as an unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent, this Antibodies.com antibody targets PPP2R1B, the beta isoform of the scaffolding A subunit of serine/threonine phosphatase PP2A. PPP2R1B contributes 15 HEAT-repeat motifs that shape the holoenzyme and position the catalytic C subunit against diverse substrates, and the gene itself maps to chromosome 11q23, a region where loss-of-function changes have been documented in lung and colorectal tumours. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed sections, and immunofluorescence, supporting studies of PP2A complex assembly, substrate recruitment, and tumour-suppressor biology in human, mouse, and rat samples.
