Anti-PPP2CB Antibody

Targeting the catalytic beta subunit of protein phosphatase 2A, this rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum in a single vial. The antibody recognizes the ~36 kDa PPP2CB band by western blot and localizes the protein in formalin-fixed tissue sections by immunohistochemistry, with reactivity demonstrated against human, mouse, and rat samples. PPP2CB is a core component of the PP2A holoenzyme, a ubiquitous serine/threonine phosphatase that regulates cell-cycle progression, apoptosis, Wnt and MAPK signaling, and chromatin remodelling, and altered PP2A activity is studied in cancer, neurodegeneration, and cardiac disease models. Suggested starting points include 20–40 µg of total protein per lane for WB and citrate-buffer antigen retrieval for IHC on paraffin sections.
