Anti-PPP1R2 (Ab-120 / 121) Antibody

Targeting protein phosphatase 1 regulatory subunit 2, this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent was raised against an epitope flanking residues 120 and 121 of human PPP1R2, the heat-stable Inhibitor-2 of PP1 catalytic activity. Each vial contains 100 µl of antiserum applied in western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. Because PPP1R2 is itself regulated through phosphorylation at Thr-72 by GSK-3, the antibody is broadly used to track glycogen-metabolism pathways, mitotic regulation, and phosphatase signaling networks. The polyclonal host response allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, supporting detection in IHC of fixed tissue sections and in WB of whole-cell lysates.
