Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified against PPP1R12A, this unconjugated polyclonal antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl reagent targeting Protein Phosphatase 1 Regulatory Subunit 12A, also called MYPT1. MYPT1 is the regulatory subunit of myosin phosphatase and governs smooth muscle contraction, cytoskeletal remodeling, and cell migration through the RhoA/ROCK signaling axis.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse samples, the reagent supports studies of vascular smooth muscle biology, cardiac contractility, cytoskeletal dynamics, and disease-model signaling experiments. Because it is polyclonal, the antibody recognizes multiple epitopes on PPP1R12A, which is useful when probing the inhibitory Thr696 and Thr853 phosphorylation sites that regulate myosin phosphatase activity and are widely tracked in vascular and cardiovascular research.

The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with HRP-conjugated, biotinylated, or fluorophore-labeled secondary antibodies, so the same primary reagent can be adapted to chromogenic Western blot, fluorescence immunohistochemistry, or immunoprecipitation workflows. Recommended handling includes refrigeration, aliquoting upon first use, and limiting freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody titer across multiple experiments.

Provided as a 100 µl vial for research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
