Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARA) is a ligand-activated nuclear receptor that governs transcription of genes controlling fatty acid β-oxidation, lipid transport, and mitochondrial energy homeostasis, and altered PPARA signaling is studied in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, dyslipidemia, and cardiac metabolic stress research. Available through Antibodies.com, this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent is raised against PPARA and validated for Western blot detection of the human, mouse, and rat protein. Each vial is supplied as 50 µl of polyclonal antisera, intended for research use only, and the multi-epitope recognition of the polyclonal format supports consistent immunoblotting across tissue lysates and cultured cell extracts.
