Raised in rabbit against POU6F2, this polyclonal primary antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated, ready-to-titer reagent in a 100 µl volume. POU6F2 (POU Domain Class 6 Transcription Factor 2) is a homeobox/POU-domain transcription factor most prominently studied in retinal ganglion cell development and ocular tissue, with additional expression reported in kidney and in regions of the central nervous system. Genetic variants at the POU6F2 locus have been associated with Wilms tumor susceptibility in pediatric renal studies and with optic nerve hypoplasia phenotypes, which is why the target attracts interest from both cancer and ocular-development research groups.

The reagent has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human and mouse samples, making it suitable for experiments that probe endogenous protein levels across retinal, neural, and renal tissue lysates or formalin-fixed paraffin sections. Because it is supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal antibody, end users can pair it with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-coupled secondary reagents of their own choosing, supporting chromogenic immunoblotting, fluorescence immunoblotting, and standard IHC protocols on a single stock.

Each vial is aliquoted from rabbit serum to limit freeze-thaw cycling of the working reagent, and the antibody is shipped refrigerated for short transit windows. Recommended starting dilutions, lot-specific validation data, and supporting references are available on the Antibodies.com product page.
