Anti-POU5F1 / OCT4 Antibody

This mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets POU5F1, the homeodomain transcription factor widely known as OCT4. POU5F1 maintains pluripotency in embryonic stem cells and germ cells and is widely used as a marker of undifferentiated pluripotent stem cell identity in regenerative biology, developmental studies, and stem cell characterization workflows.

Supplied as 50 µL of purified immunoglobulin in a 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol, and 0.2% sodium azide as a preservative. The unconjugated format offers flexibility for downstream detection chemistries and custom conjugation when needed.

Validated for Western Blot (WB) applications on mouse samples. The antibody recognizes mouse POU5F1 and fits standard immunoblotting workflows following SDS-PAGE separation and transfer to nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes. As a research use only reagent, it is intended for in vitro studies such as reprogramming experiments, differentiation time courses, and characterization of induced pluripotent stem cell lines.
