This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets POU2AF1 (also known as OCA-B or Bob-1), a B-cell-restricted transcriptional coactivator that partners with OCT1 and OCT2 to drive immunoglobulin gene expression and germinal center B-cell identity. The unconjugated reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat specimens.

Investigators studying B-cell lymphoma subclassification, germinal center-derived neoplasms, or lymphoid tissue organization can apply this reagent to localize POU2AF1 in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded biopsies, on Western blots of lymphoid lysates, or in IF staining of cultured B-cell lines. The polyclonal host response increases the chance of recognizing the target across multiple epitopes, which is helpful when working with archival lymphoma material where antigen masking is a recurring concern. Cross-reactivity with human, mouse, and rat POU2AF1 enables consistent use across species in comparative immunology studies.

Aliquot upon arrival and store frozen to limit freeze-thaw cycles; the 50% glycerol component protects the protein during brief handling at 4°C. Intended for research use only.
