Offered through Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for neuroscience and ion-channel research, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the voltage-gated Potassium Channel Kv3.2b (KCNC2). The antiserum is raised in Rabbit and purified by antigen-affinity chromatography, and the IgG is supplied unconjugated in a 50 µl liquid format at 1 mg/ml. The antibody is validated for Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunofluorescence (IF), and has been tested for reactivity with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of Kv3.2b expression in brain and other tissues. For short-term handling the vial can be kept at 4 °C; for continuous use it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Researchers working on KCNC2-related signalling, neuronal excitability or related channelopathies can pair this Kv3.2b reagent with standard anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibodies for chromogenic or fluorescent detection in WB membranes, fixed tissue sections and cultured cells.
