Anti-PON2 Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this rabbit-derived polyclonal reagent is raised against a recombinant human PON2 (paraoxonase 2) immunogen and affinity-purified to detect endogenous levels of total PON2 protein. Supplied as an unconjugated antibody at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, the product is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and has been confirmed to react with human, mouse, and rat samples. PON2 is also known by several synonyms, including A-esterase 2, aromatic esterase 2, serum aryldialkylphosphatase 2, and serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 2. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
