Anti-PON1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com and distributed through AFMS, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against human paraoxonase 1 (PON1), the serum arylesterase/aryl-dialkylphosphatase encoded by the PON1 gene. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is unconjugated so it is suitable for use with a wide range of secondary detection systems. Affinity-purified to an estimated purity of greater than 95%, it is intended for research use only and is validated for Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples, where it detects endogenous levels of total PON1 protein. Recommended short-term storage is at 4 °C; for longer-term stability the product should be aliquoted and kept at –20 °C, with repeated freeze-thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
