Anti-POMGNT2 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human POMGNT2 protein, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent is directed against a glycosyltransferase that catalyzes a key step in O-mannosyl glycan biosynthesis, transferring N-acetylglucosamine onto β-linked mannose residues on α-dystroglycan and related substrates. Mutations in POMGNT2 disrupt dystroglycan modification and cause congenital muscular dystrophy-dystroglycanopathy syndromes (including MDDGA8 and MDDGB4) that affect muscle, brain, and eye development, making this reagent a tool for studies of dystroglycanopathies, neuromuscular junction biology, and protein glycosylation pathways.
