Anti-POMGNT2 Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets POMGNT2, the Golgi-resident glycosyltransferase Protein O-Mannose Beta-1,4-N-Acetylglucosaminyltransferase 2 that catalyzes the transfer of N-acetylglucosamine onto O-linked mannose residues of α-dystroglycan. Defects in this enzymatic step disrupt the laminin-binding glycan epitope on dystroglycan, which is the molecular basis for several dystroglycanopathies, including forms of congenital muscular dystrophy and limb-girdle muscular dystrophy.

Supplied as an unconjugated Rabbit polyclonal antibody and validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence, this reagent is reactive against Human samples and ships at a 100 µl pack size. The unconjugated format leaves the secondary reagent and detection chemistry open, so the same stock can be redirected between HRP-chemiluminescent, fluorescent, or affinity-based readouts as the experiment requires.
