Anti-POMC Antibody

This polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1–100 of human POMC (NP_000930.1), and is described as recognising ACTH. It is supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and has been affinity purified.

The isotype is IgG and the antibody is unconjugated. The manufacturer's documentation lists ICC/IF as a validated application with recommended dilutions of 1:50–1:200, and reports reactivity with Human and Rat samples. The Antibodies.com catalogue listing additionally lists WB among applications and includes Mouse in the reactivity profile.
