POLR3K is the eleventh subunit of human RNA Polymerase III, the nuclear enzyme responsible for transcribing small structural RNAs such as 5S rRNA, tRNAs, and U6 snRNA. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against the POLR3K target and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. The unconjugated IgG is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS supplemented with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, an antibody-friendly cryoprotectant blend that supports storage at -20°C with minimal freeze-thaw damage to the protein. Because the reagent is polyclonal, it recognizes multiple epitopes across human POLR3K, which can be helpful when probing denatured whole-cell lysates by WB or fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue sections by IHC. Researchers working on Pol III-driven transcription, tRNA processing, ribosome biogenesis, or the links between Pol III output and cellular stress responses can use this primary antibody as a practical detection reagent in standard immunodetection workflows.
