Anti-POLR2G Antibody

Polyclonal rabbit antibodies from Antibodies.com targeting POLR2G recognize the seventh subunit of human RNA Polymerase II, a ~19 kDa protein that integrates into the Pol II complex driving mRNA transcription. This 100 µl, unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot detection of endogenous POLR2G in cell lysates and for immunohistochemistry localization in formalin-fixed tissue sections. Because the target marks active transcriptional machinery rather than a signaling cascade, the antibody is commonly applied to studies of Pol II subunit stoichiometry, transcription cycle progression, and the response of the RNA Polymer II complex to chemical or genetic perturbation. Storage at -20°C in working aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve titre across repeat experiments; thaw briefly on ice before use and avoid prolonged exposure to room temperature.
