Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal reagent targets POLR2F (DNA-directed RNA polymerase II subunit F, also known as RPABC14.4 or RPB14.4), a shared subunit of RNA polymerases I, II, and III. The antibody is raised against a recombinant human POLR2F immunogen and purified by antigen-affinity chromatography, yielding an unconjugated IgG preparation supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume. Its formulation is phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (without Mg²⁺ or Ca²⁺), containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The reagent has been validated for Western blotting and immunofluorescence on samples derived from human, mouse, and rat, making it a broadly useful tool across common laboratory models. Specificity is directed against the endogenous full-length POLR2F protein, allowing detection of total cellular levels of this14.4 kDa polymerase subunit. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon receipt and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody integrity. Intended strictly for research applications, this polyclonal provides a flexible option for transcription, RNA polymerase subunit, and chromatin research workflows requiring reliable recognition of POLR2F across multiple species.
