Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody targets POLR2F, also known as RPB6, the sixth-largest subunit that is shared between RNA polymerases I, II, and III in eukaryotic cells. Supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial, it is validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

POLR2F encodes a small subunit of approximately 14 kDa that is incorporated into every nuclear RNA polymerase, making this antibody a practical tool for monitoring general transcription-machinery expression or probing subunit composition in cell-based studies. Endogenous POLR2F can be detected in whole-cell lysates by immunoblotting or visualized in fixed cells as nuclear staining by immunofluorescence microscopy.

Suggested starting applications include Western blot detection of the ~14 kDa band in tissue or cell lysates and immunofluorescence imaging of cultured cells or tissue sections. Refer to the supplier datasheet for recommended dilutions, blocking conditions, and antigen retrieval protocols.
