The POLR2F protein is the sixth subunit shared among the three eukaryotic RNA polymerases (Pol I, II, and III), forming a heterodimer that stabilizes the polymerase assembly on DNA. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against POLR2F and validated for western blot and immunofluorescence applications on human samples. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µl vial, providing sufficient volume for multiple experimental setups. POLR2F serves as a core component of RNA polymerase II, the enzyme complex responsible for transcribing protein-coding genes into mRNA, making this antibody a useful tool for studies of transcription regulation, gene expression, and RNA processing pathways in research use only applications. The polyclonal format allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, which can improve signal detection in western blot and immunofluorescence workflows.
