Anti-POLR2F Antibody

The Antibodies.com anti-POLR2F polyclonal reagent targets the sixth-largest subunit of human RNA polymerase II, a 14.4 kDa protein encoded at chromosome 22q13.1 that forms part of the core Pol II transcription complex responsible for mRNA synthesis. Raised in rabbit as an unconjugated IgG preparation, the antibody is provided as a 100 µl aliquot and recognizes a single band near 14 kDa on western blots of human cell lysates while producing nuclear immunofluorescence staining in fixed cells, in line with POLR2F's role at transcription sites.

Validated for WB and IF on human samples, the reagent supports studies of RNA polymerase II assembly, transcription-coupled chromatin regulation, and downstream gene expression analyses. For best results, store aliquots frozen at -20°C and limit freeze-thaw cycles; thaw on ice before use and protect from light when working with fluorescent secondary reagents during imaging.
