Anti-POLR2E Antibody

Distributed by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises POLR2E/rpb5, a 26 kDa subunit common to RNA polymerases I, II, and III. The unconjugated IgG reagent is supplied in liquid form and has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, with reactivity confirmed against human samples.

This reagent was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–210 of human POLR2E (NP_002686.2) and is provided in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. Recommended starting dilutions are WB: 1:500–1:2,000 and ICC/IF: 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

Supporting validation data include Western blot analysis of extracts from multiple cell lines (antibody used at 1:1,000 with 25 µg of lysate per lane, blocked with 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST) and immunofluorescence staining of A549 cells. For research use only.
