Ribosome biogenesis research and studies of craniofacial development disorders benefit from this unconjugated Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody against POLR1C, a shared subunit of RNA Polymerase I and III complexes responsible for ribosomal RNA transcription in the nucleolus. Raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, the reagent recognizes the human, mouse, and rat POLR1C protein, making it useful for investigating rRNA synthesis, nucleolar function, and the molecular basis of Treacher Collins syndrome, where biallelic POLR1C mutations have been linked to craniofacial defects.

The antibody is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant, leaving the molecule unconjugated for flexible downstream labelling with fluorophores or enzymes. Storage at -20 °C in single-use aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve immunoreactivity across multiple experiments.
