Anti-POLE3 Antibody

The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent targets POLE3 (DNA Polymerase Epsilon subunit 3), a small histone-fold protein that forms the POLE3–POLE4 accessory heterodimer of the leading-strand replicative polymerase Pol ε. The same subunit contributes to the CHRAC chromatin-remodeling complex and stabilizes the Pol ε holoenzyme on chromatin, linking DNA synthesis to nucleosome dynamics during S phase.

Raised in rabbit and supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal at 100 µl, the antibody is validated for western blot and immunofluorescence and cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologs in addition to human protein, supporting comparative replication studies across standard mammalian models.

POLE3 is reported to localize to replication foci and to associate with the four-subunit Pol ε complex (POLE, POLE2, POLE3, POLE4). Researchers use this reagent to monitor Pol ε integrity after chromatin fractionation, to probe POLE3 stabilization of POLE, and to study CHRAC-mediated nucleosome sliding at stalled forks.
