Anti-PNPase Antibody

This polyclonal reagent targets Polynucleotide Phosphorylase (PNPase), the mitochondrial exoribonuclease encoded by the PNPT1 gene. PNPase mediates 3'-to-5' RNA degradation and contributes to mitochondrial RNA import and processing, making it a key marker for studies of mitochondrial gene expression, RNA turnover, and the cellular stress response.

Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated serum, the antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. Researchers use it to probe PNPase in cell lysates and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue, and to confirm protein-level changes following knockdown or overexpression of PNPT1 in mitochondrial biology and oxidative phosphorylation research.
