Anti-PNPase Antibody

Raised in rabbit and purified by affinity chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the mitochondrial enzyme PNPase (polynucleotide phosphorylase 1, encoded by PNPT1), also known as OLD35, PNPase old-35, and 3'-5' RNA exonuclease OLD35. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human PNPase, and the antibody is documented to detect endogenous levels of the protein in human and mouse samples. It is supplied at 1 mg/mL in a liquid formulation containing PBS with 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated with an IgG isotype. The 50 µl size is recommended for use in ELISA, Western blot (WB), and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows. For short-term handling, the vial is shipped at 4°C; for longer storage it should be aliquoted and kept at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
