Anti-PNMT Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against phenylethanolamine N-methyltransferase (PNMT) and is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume. The unconjugated IgG preparation detects the endogenous total PNMT protein and is validated for Western blotting and immunohistochemistry, reacting with human, mouse and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant human PNMT protein, and the antibody has been affinity purified using that immunogen to maximise specificity. The buffer is a phosphate-buffered saline formulation at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺. Vials are shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Suitable targets include the noradrenaline N-methyltransferase, PENT and PNMTase aliases, making this a versatile tool for catecholamine biosynthesis research.
