Anti-PNMT Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to PNMT, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG reagent. The antibody is raised in rabbit and validated for Western blot (WB) applications with reactivity confirmed against Human and Mouse samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1-282 of human PNMT (NP_002677.1). The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 31 - 34 kDa. The reagent is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide, and is purified by affinity chromatography. The recommended Western blot dilution range is 1:500 - 1:2,000. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.

A representative Western blot was performed on extracts of various cell lines using the antibody at 1:1,000 dilution, with lysates loaded at 25µg per lane. The secondary antibody was Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1:10,000, blocking was carried out in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, and detection used an ECL Basic Kit with a 90 second exposure.
