Anti-PML Protein Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the Promyelocytic Leukemia (PML) nuclear body organizer, this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com targets a tumor suppressor that scaffolds PML nuclear bodies (PML-NBs) and regulates DNA damage response, apoptosis, sumoylation, and innate antiviral defence. PML is disrupted by the t(15;17) translocation in acute promyelocytic leukemia, where it fuses with RARα to form the oncogenic PML-RARA chimera, so robust anti-PML detection is widely used to study APL biology, PML-NB integrity, and reactivation pathways during arsenic and ATRA differentiation therapy.
