Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody raised against Plexin-A4 (PLXNA4), a transmembrane semaphorin receptor best known for transducing Sema3A signals during axon guidance, dendritic spine regulation, and immune cell migration. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent validated for western blot detection of endogenous Plexin-A4 in mouse and rat samples. Each vial contains 200 µl of affinity-purified antibody in a PBS-based buffer with glycerol and stabilizers; aliquot upon arrival and store at -20 °C in single-use portions to limit freeze-thaw cycles that can erode titer over time. The polyclonal format offers recognition of multiple epitopes across the receptor's intracellular and extracellular domains, supporting detection of full-length Plexin-A4 as well as processed fragments in lysates from neuronal cultures, bone marrow-derived macrophages, and other Plexin-A4-expressing tissues. Because Plexin-A4 drives semaphorin-mediated cytoskeletal remodeling, the reagent is frequently used in research on axon repulsion assays, osteoclast differentiation, and tumor cell migration. Host species is rabbit, and the unconjugated format allows direct pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents chosen by the user for chemiluminescent western blot, immunofluorescence, or downstream immunoprecipitation workflows. Short-term storage at 4 °C is acceptable for working aliquots kept free of contamination, while long-term stability is best preserved by snap-freezing in small volumes. Intended for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
