Phospholipid scramblase 1 (PLSCR1) is a calcium-binding, palmitoylated, interferon-inducible protein that participates in membrane phospholipid reorganization, apoptotic signaling, and the cellular response to type I interferons. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets an epitope of human PLSCR1 and cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologs, making it useful in comparative studies across standard mammalian model systems.

Supplied as 100 µl of affinity-purified antibody at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative. The unconjugated format supports flexible detection chemistry in western blot workflows, including detection of endogenous PLSCR1 in whole-cell lysates prepared from HeLa, HEK293, and primary fibroblast cultures.

Researchers studying innate immunity, hematopoiesis, or viral host-response pathways use PLSCR1 antibodies to assess interferon-driven upregulation following viral infection or cytokine stimulation. For western blot, 20–40 µg of total protein per lane is typically sufficient, with the expected band appearing near 35 kDa, consistent with the mature processed form of PLSCR1.
