Anti-PLS1 Antibody

Polyclonal rabbit antibody raised against plastin-1 (PLS1), a calcium-sensitive actin-bundling protein of the fimbrin/plastin family that organizes the microvillar brush border of intestinal epithelial cells. The unconjugated IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with rabbit as the host species. The antibody detects PLS1 in both human and mouse samples and is supplied as a 200 µl liquid aliquot suitable for dilution into standard blotting and staining buffers. On reduced SDS-PAGE, plastin-1 typically resolves near 70 kDa, consistent with the predicted molecular weight of the mature polypeptide. In IHC the reagent highlights the apical brush border of small intestine and colon epithelium, where plastin-1 is most strongly expressed, and works on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections.
