Anti-PLIN2 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody to PLIN2 (also referred to as ADFP), supplied by Antibodies.com within their Primary Antibodies range. The unconjugated IgG reagent is raised in rabbit and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. It is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications.

Immunisation uses a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 338–437 of human Perilipin-2 (NP_001113.2). The antibody is provided as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and has been affinity purified from the immunogen. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for Western blot, and 1:50–1:200 for immunohistochemistry and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence.

The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 48 kDa. Concentration is lot specific.
