Phospholipase C gamma 1 (PLCγ1) is a cytoplasmic signaling enzyme that hydrolyzes phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) to generate the second messengers IP3 and DAG, triggering intracellular calcium release and protein kinase C activation downstream of activated receptor tyrosine kinases. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets PLCγ1 and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples. Researchers use it to investigate growth factor signaling, T cell receptor activation, and tumor cell motility, in which phosphorylation at Tyr783 is commonly tracked as a marker of pathway engagement. Supplied as 100 µl of antibody reagent, it is intended for research use only and can be paired with user-selected secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or chromogenic detection in cell signaling, cancer biology, and immunology workflows.
