Phospholipase C beta 2 (PLC β2) is a key effector in phosphoinositide signaling, hydrolyzing PIP2 to generate the second messengers IP3 and diacylglycerol downstream of heterotrimeric G proteins. The enzyme is central to chemokine-driven immune cell migration, neutrophil chemotaxis, and B-cell receptor signaling. Tyrosine 759 sits within the C-terminal region of PLC β2, a site whose phosphorylation has been studied in the context of Src-family kinase activity and GPCR crosstalk.

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to recognize PLC β2 only when phosphorylated at Tyr759. It is validated for Western blot on lysates of human, mouse, and rat origin, enabling phospho-Y759 analysis in primary immune cells, transfected cell lines, and tissue extracts. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide, in a 100 µl vial, unconjugated for downstream flexibility with HRP, fluorophore, or biotin secondary reagents.

Short-term storage refrigerated; for longer-term, aliquot the polyclonal stock and freeze to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Researchers working on G-protein signaling, calcium mobilization, and immune cell chemotaxis will find this reagent a focused tool for tracking site-specific PLC β2 activation in signaling cascades.
