Phospholipase C β3 (PLC β3) is a key effector of Gαq-coupled receptor signaling, hydrolyzing PIP2 to generate the second messengers IP3 and DAG. Phosphorylation of PLC β3 at serine 537 (S537) modulates its catalytic activity and membrane association in response to extracellular cues. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against PLC β3 phosphorylated at the S537 residue and is validated specifically for Western blot (WB) detection. Generated in rabbits, the reagent shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational studies across common experimental model systems.

The antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. Storage at -20°C in aliquots is recommended to preserve binding activity across multiple freeze-thaw cycles. Phospho-specific epitope recognition allows researchers to follow PLC β3 activation dynamics in cell signaling, GPCR pharmacology, and investigations of cardiac, vascular, or neural phosphoinositide pathways, where aberrant Gαq-PLC signaling is implicated in disease.
