Anti-PLAT Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody targets PLAT (tissue plasminogen activator), a serine protease that converts plasminogen into plasmin during fibrinolysis. Supplied by Antibodies.com as 50 µl of liquid in a single-use vial, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and rat samples.

The polyclonal IgG reagent recognizes multiple epitopes across the PLAT molecule, supporting detection of the full-length protein in lysates and fixed tissue sections. As a rabbit host antibody, it pairs with anti-rabbit HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondaries for chemiluminescent, chromogenic, or immunofluorescence readouts.

Suggested uses include profiling PLAT expression in vascular, neural, and hepatic tissues, studying fibrinolytic activity in clot-lysis models, and investigating altered PLAT levels in disease research.
