Anti-PLA2G1B Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets PLA2G1B, a phospholipase A2 group IB protein reported as enriched in pancreatic tissue. The reagent is raised in rabbit, is of the IgG isotype, and is supplied unconjugated.

Validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse samples, the antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 23–148 of human PLA2G1B (NP_000919.1). It is affinity-purified and provided as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, at a lot-specific concentration. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 16 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:100–1:200 for immunohistochemistry. For storage, the antibody is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
