Anti-PKR (Ab-446) Antibody

Raised in rabbits against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues444–448 (K-R-T-R-S) of human PKR, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated antibody is affinity-purified on an epitope-specific peptide column and is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications. It specifically detects the endogenous total PKR protein (EIF2AK2) and shows reactivity with human and rat samples, making it well suited for studies of the interferon-induced, dsRNA-activated kinase in translational control and innate immune signalling.
