Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets PKCz at the region surrounding residue 410 and is intended for research-grade detection of the kinase across multiple species. The immunogen corresponds to the synthetic peptide sequence T-S-T-F-C spanning amino acids 408–412 of human PKCz, and antibodies were affinity-purified by epitope-specific peptide chromatography to ensure selectivity for endogenous total PKCz protein. Supplied as a 50 µl liquid at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, the preparation is unconjugated and formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The host species is Rabbit and the isotype is IgG, with the polyclonal pool generated by immunizing rabbits with the KLH-conjugated peptide and collecting the immune serum. Validated applications include Western Blot (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the antibody has been confirmed to react with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, making it suitable for comparative studies in cell-line, primary-tissue, and rodent model systems. For routine handling, the product can be stored short term at 4 °C and is recommended to be aliquoted and held at −20 °C for long-term stability, with repeated freeze–thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity. This reagent is for research use only and is not validated or intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Offered through AFMS as a 50 µl pack, it provides a flexible, species-cross-reactive option for laboratories investigating PKCz signalling pathways in neuroscience, metabolic, or cancer-related research.
