Raised in rabbit against Protein Kinase C theta (PKCθ), this polyclonal antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent in a 100 µl volume. PKCθ is a serine/threonine kinase of the novel PKC subfamily that is selectively expressed in T lymphocytes and skeletal muscle, where it mediates T-cell receptor signaling and drives NF-κB activation downstream of antigen stimulation. The reagent targets an epitope mapped to residue 695 of human PKCθ, as indicated by the Ab-695 designation, and is therefore useful for studies probing this kinase's contribution to lymphocyte biology and inflammatory signal transduction.

Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) on human samples. Investigators studying immune synapse formation, T-cell activation thresholds, and downstream cytokine signaling use this antibody to monitor kinase behavior in stimulated lymphocyte lysates and in fixed tissue sections. Because the conjugate is unconjugated, the antibody pairs readily with standard anti-rabbit secondary reagents such as HRP- or fluorophore-labeled secondaries and supports custom biotinylation or other labeling workflows. For best results, aliquot upon arrival and store refrigerated, minimizing freeze-thaw cycles to preserve reagent activity over the working shelf life.
