Protein kinase C theta (PKCθ) is a serine/threonine kinase of the novel PKC subfamily that supports T-cell receptor signaling, immune synapse formation, and NF-κB activation in lymphocytes. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com was raised against a peptide epitope mapping around residue 676 of human PKCθ and is affinity-purified for cell biology and immunology research.

Validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF), the reagent detects endogenous PKCθ in human tissue sections and cultured cell lines. Common applications include studies of T-cell activation, downstream NF-κB signaling, and the kinase's role in autoimmune and inflammatory disease models, as well as its expression in skeletal muscle. Each vial delivers 100 µl of antibody prepared at a working concentration for standard immunoblotting and staining protocols.

Because the antibody is reactive with human samples, it supports translational work using patient-derived tissues and cell lines. Upon arrival, aliquot the stock and refrigerate it for long-term stability; for repeated use, keep working aliquots cold and minimize freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity. The unconjugated format allows pairing with secondary reagents such as HRP-, fluorophore-, and biotin-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG, giving laboratories flexibility in detection chemistry.
