Anti-PKC alpha Antibody [G13-R]

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit monoclonal IgG antibody is supplied unconjugated in liquid form and recognises PKC alpha. The clone is designated G13-R, and the reagent reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. It is validated for Western blot (WB), ELISA, immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunocytochemistry, including ICC/IF.

The immunogen is a peptide derived from the N-terminal sequence of human PKC alpha, and the antibody binds the epitope located between Asn8 and Ala17. The formulation is Tris Buffered Saline, pH 8.0, with 10 mg/ml BSA and 0.05% Sodium Azide. Recommended dilutions are WB at 1:5,000 and ELISA between 1:20,000 and 1:50,000.

The product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
