Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against protein kinase C zeta (PKC ζ) and is supplied as a 50 µL liquid preparation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from human PKC ζ surrounding the non-phosphorylation site of threonine 560, and the antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography to selectively enrich antigen-binding immunoglobulins of the IgG isotype. The unconjugated format makes the reagent well suited to a broad range of detection chemistries, and it has been validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry / immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Published and curated reactivity data demonstrate recognition of endogenous PKC ζ in human, mouse, rat and monkey samples, supporting its use across common model systems and primary tissues. For continuous use the manufacturer recommends storage at −20 °C, with the buffer composition providing additional cryoprotection; users should avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles to preserve binding activity. Typical working ranges reported for comparable reagents in this range are 1:500–1:1000 for WB, 1:50–1:100 for IHC and 1:100–1:500 for IF, although optimal dilutions should be determined empirically for each application and sample type.
