Anti-PKC α (phospho-T638) Antibody

Available through Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against PKC α (phospho-T638). It is validated for Western blot applications and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, supplied as an unconjugated antibody.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human PKC α around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 638, and the antibody detects endogenous levels of PKC α/β2 protein when phosphorylated at Thr638. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The product is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and the target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 80 kDa.
