Anti-PKC α (phospho-T638) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises PKC α when phosphorylated at Threonine 638. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human PKC α around the phosphorylation site of Threonine 638, and the reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of PKC α protein only when phosphorylated at Thr638. It is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity greater than 96% by SDS-PAGE. The expected molecular weight of the target is approximately 80 kDa.
