Anti-PKC α (G633) Antibody

From Antibodies.com's primary antibody range, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against PKC α (G633). It is supplied as an unconjugated preparation at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. The reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) and has been confirmed to react with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.

According to the manufacturer, the immunogen was a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 600-650 of Human PKC α. The antibody detects endogenous levels of PKC α protein and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 100% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein migrates at approximately 80 kDa.
