Supplied by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the human PKAα / β / γ cat region around the non-phosphorylation site of T198, enabling detection of endogenous levels of the PKA catalytic subunits. The unconjugated antibody is provided as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, at a concentration of 1 mg/ml, and is recommended for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence and ELISA applications across human, mouse and rat samples. Following affinity chromatography on an epitope-specific immunogen, the reagent is shipped from Cambridge (UK) with a typical lead time of 4–6 business days and should be stored at –20 °C for up to one year, remaining stable across repeated use within that period. Because it is unconjugated and of polyclonal origin raised in rabbit, it integrates readily with standard anti-rabbit IgG secondary reagents such as the HRP, FITC, biotin and AP conjugates listed as suitable secondaries on the Antibodies.com product page. The preparation is intended strictly for research use only and is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, making it a dependable tool for laboratories investigating cAMP-dependent protein kinase signalling in cell biology and biochemistry workflows.
