Anti-PKAα/β cat (phospho-T197) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com that recognises PKAα/β cat (catalytic subunit) when phosphorylated at Threonine 197. It was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human PKAα around the phosphorylation site of Thr197, and detects endogenous levels of PKAα/β cat protein only when phosphorylated at Thr197. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen to a purity of greater than 95% as assessed by SDS-PAGE.

The antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples. The observed molecular weight of the target is approximately 42 kDa.
